Water Everywhere

Just returned from another succesful outing to Leanyer Recreational Lake.  It's the school holidays, so there were plenty of children around but overall not as crowded as weekends.  That's one the things I like about living here, not too many people and we can come and go as we like. No hassle in getting a car park, just drove right in and off we went into the water.

The water was warm, perhaps we go there a bit late, about 1pm.  I much prefer cold water but then it was a sunny day and there were plenty of shaded spots.

The pool was pretty much vacant as it was too sunny.  Most people hung around the water play area.  The big slides were going off but I was too lazy to walk up the stairs.  It's real effort to get fat, I am not about to let exercise ruin that. The kiddies play area is popular as ever, I like the giant bucket, whoosh, tonnes of water rushing down like that.

Heaps of kids about but alas, no hot chicks.  Where are all the hot chicks in Darwin hidding?

Better luck next time.
